INSPIRATION
What really inspires me the most are movements like Surrealism, Expressionism and what is usually related to the word “nonsense”, with a tendency to use the creativity, allowing the imagination and the subjectivity to influence.
The unknown, the night, the details, the freedom of having no limitations towards any idea, the use of black most of the time, in contrast with colors, or white. The beauty of the nature within all beings.
People that inspires me the most, are the ones who merge the previously described with design, art, films, as well as music and writing.
Some of these people are filmmakers such as Tim Burton, Guillermo del Toro, Peter Jackson, Steven Spielberg, James Cameron, Stanley Kubrick, Christopher Nolan, Quentin Tarantino and David Fincher. Writers like Lewis Carroll, Stephen King, John Verdon, Edgar Allan Poe, Jules Verne and Agatha Christie. Artists such as Anton Semenov, Dan Quintana, Andrés Rios, Samuel Araya, Blial Cabal, Christophe Young, Scott Radke, Marco Grassi, Eddie Mendoza, Stephan Koidl, Mike Franchina, Leandro Szulman, Matthew Mongo and Nico DiMattia to name a few. Music genres such as Rock, Metal, Blues, Neoceltic Pagan/Nordic folk, and Reggae.
